This is the sixth straight year that we have been fortunate to bring you live coverage of the Armstrong tennis teams as they attempt to win the national championship. Four out of those six years the task has been accomplished and three of those six, both the men's and women's teams won it in the same year - a feat unprecedented in NCAA Division II history. It has been an incredible ride and the Armstrong athletic department, the campus community and the Savannah area have been fortunate to see such a great program excel year after year.
The teams fly out to Arizona on Monday. The blog will journey on Tuesday and give you updates as soon as possible - the blog is also pulling double duty with staffing the championships so the updates might not be as in-depth or photo heavy as we have had in the past, but it will not be from the lack of effort! In fact we may enlist the help of some others to join us with their thoughts during the trip to Arizona.
